作品经常以身穿水手服的少女与动物为主题，其带有怀旧意味同时色彩斑斓的风格深受欢迎，广泛应用于CD、DVD、图书、游戏、电视漫画等领域，比如乐队ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION的全部CD，作家赤川次郎、石田衣良等人作品的封面。
最近，改编自作家森见登美彦同名小说，颇具人气的电视漫画《四疊半神话大系》的角色原案就出自他的笔下。国内中文版小说即将发行，封面也采用了他的作品元素。

京都trico+杂货铺
trico+里所卖的杂货，大多是店主人中村小姐从法国挑选回来的小玩意。每次去法国旅行，沿途的看板，装书的小木箱，地铁票根都是她的收藏对象。同时也是插画师的她也将自己的所见一一画下，放在店内做布景。trico+共有三间屋子，一是杂货；二是画廊，不定期展览插画，摄影，手工杂货等；三是一间小型的咖啡厅。
夏天的夜晚，小院子还可以看见萤火虫哦。
